Summer holidays are here...... It's time to have some fun on our woodland walks.
Feather hunting is a wonderful way to get those little ones out and about.
It's a cheap and a simple activity, all you need to take with you is as follows:
Pieces of cardboard
Hunt for feathers and sticks.
You will need a bendy stick for the bow, not too old or brittle. Then tie string to both ends to create the bow curve.
Tie your feather one end of your arrow stick with string.
Cut cardboard into a triangle and pierce two holes so you can thread it through the other end of the arrow stick.
Now it's time to let your imagination flow and have some fun!
.....and make new friends along the way!
Happy summer holidays folks.
